The Network for Educational Development (NED) provides educational development opportunities that are designed by Minnesota State faculty and staff for Minnesota State faculty and staff. The Basics of Accessible Documents: Spring 2024
Creating digital materials that are easy for people using assistive technology to use should not be scary. Most of what you need to know how to do you are likely already doing! We will take a quick look at 7 basic tools in Word that you can use to make your work accessible:
- Headings
- Lists
- Font
- Use of color
- Images with Alt Text
- Real Language Links
- Tables
We will also show you the quick and easy way to use the built in Accessibility Checker!
