Accessibility Projects at Normandale and within the System/State—Accessible Content for the Web and Learning Management Systems is being offered by Normandale Community College Online Learning Department. Accessible Campus: Creating Accessible Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe PDF is a three hour hands-on training session. In this session you will spend the first two hours learning the Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) tools accessibility features and ways to make your deliverables accessible in the third hour, you will learn how to create accessible PDF from your earlier creations. If you don’t use or make edits in PDF, then you can elect to leave the final hour. Adobe Acrobat Pro is used and not the free version.
The dates for the next Campus Access: Creating accessible Microsoft Office 2010 Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat Pro are now set and are open to the system, state employees and K12 MN. Registration is available through the StarID system. Register using tech or StarID at and pass this on to those you are working with, such as administrative staff, faculty, deans etc. A manual is included with the training.
