Minnesota Tutoring Summit – The Fifth-Everest Minnesota Tutoring Summit will take place on Friday, April 13, 2012 at North Hennepin Community College – Over the past five years, our Tutoring Summits have brought together tutoring professionals and interested parties from around the System (and other interested institutions including the University of Minnesota and private colleges) to share best practices, explore options to meeting tutoring challenges (e.g. being culturally sensitive), and explore new ways to provide this vital service.
This year’s Summit promises to continue the success of prior Summits!! We are planning over twenty (20) breakout sessions, and an opportunity to hear and interact with MnSCU’s new Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs, Doug Knowlton and reconnect with one of our former keynote speakers (now president of NHCC), John O’Brien.
