NCWE provides the link between policy and workforce education and economic development practices by providing support, research, and critical information to members on current and future trends and policies. The Council advocates for policy and legislation that support workforce and economic development and job training.

“The mission of South Central College is to provide accessible higher education to promote student growth and regional economic development,” stated SCC President Keith Stover. “The focus of the NCWE on economic development makes Dr. Genelin’s appointment support the college mission on a broader, national scale.”
