Spring 2013 Quality Matters Workshops

Five sessions of the Applying the Quality Matters Rubric (APPQMR) Workshop have been scheduled for spring semester 2013.  Both online and face-to-face sessions are available.

Start dates for the 2-week online APPQMR workshops:  January 29, March 12 & May 21 dates for the face-to-face all day APPQMR workshops:  March 22 at Bemidji State University & April 4 at Minnesota State University, Mankato at Edina.

Registrations submitted for an “Applying the Quality Matters Rubric” (APPQMR) workshop between now and March 30 will automatically get the $55 discounted registration cost without having to enter a code.  There is no limit to the number of individuals from an institution who can register for the spring APPQMR workshops at this price as long as the registration is completed before March 30 – this includes registration for spring workshops that start later than March 30.  (Only individuals from QM Affiliate Subscriber Institutions in Minnesota are eligible to register.)

APPQMR workshop description from QM:  “The Applying the QM Rubric (APPQMR) workshop is QM’s flagship workshop on the QM Rubric and the process of using the QM Rubric to review online courses. It is intended for a broad audience, including but not limited to faculty, instructional designers, administrators, and adjunct instructors who wish to understand more about the QM Rubric and process of course review.”

The APPQMR is the pre-requisite for the Peer Reviewer Course, which is the required course to become a QM Peer Reviewer.
