Academic Dean Orientation elearning Course

Starting last February, 2014, all new externally hired and internally appointed academic deans, including interims, are being enrolled into the Academic Dean Orientation elearning course during the pay period their change takes place. Existing academic deans, CAOs, VPs of Academic Affairs and Provosts were also enrolled last February. This course focuses on the unique challenges faced by academic deans in our public higher education system. It is an asynchronous eLearning course developed to support the overall onboarding of MnSCU academic deans to our system and their new role.

In addition, all new externally hired and internally appointed administrators are expected to attend and complete the State of Minnesota mandated supervisory training, the Art and Science of Supervision at MnSCU. New Administrators also are able to attend New Administrator Orientation on October 9-10, 2014 at the System Office. Please register on STARS – https://secure.mnsu.edu/mnscupd
