2014 Adult Pathways to Postsecondary Forums

TO:   Presidents, CAOs/CSAOs, Deans

Colleagues,

In connection with the Pathways to Postsecondary Summits from last year and the upcoming Pathways to Postsecondary 2.0, Adult Basic Education (ABE) and Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) are partnering to offer regional forums, 2014 Adult Pathways to Postsecondary Forum: Aligning ABE and higher education for student success . The purpose of the forums is to expand local colleges and universities’ ability to partner with ABE providers and to expand opportunities for students to access postsecondary credit bearing pathways.  The forums will present an overview of the current work, share legislation/policy updates, and highlight promising ABE/postsecondary partnership models. Participants will have time to explore new opportunities to partner between developmental education, ABE, and Career Technical Education (CTE).

We invite you to assemble a strategic team to participate in one of the three regional forums. The attached flyer details the forum dates, goals, and registration information.
