Governor Mark Dayton recently proclaimed the week of November 17-21, 2014 as International Education Week. International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education “to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States”. System institutions are encouraged to celebrate international education through your own local activities, suggestions for which are noted at http://eca.state.gov/programs-initiatives/international-education-week/.
