The Student Affairs/Diversity and Multiculturalism Conference will be held on February 26 and 27th, 2015, at the Minneapolis Boulevard Hotel (hotel is the same as in previous years) in Brooklyn Center.
Our theme this year is “Developing Excellence: Our Students, Ourselves” and we look forward to an exciting two days of conversation, professional development and outstanding sessions on topics related to career enhancement and advancement, student success and retention, best practices and visions for the future. To submit a conference proposal, please use the following link: Proposals. Proposals will be accepted until January 8th, 2015.
The conference will be two full days, with a continental breakfast and lunch provided each day. As in previous years, there is no charge to attend the conference but due to space constraints we must limit attendance to 10 representatives from each college and university each day. A waiting list will be established to fill slots not used by other campuses. Attendance will be coordinated through the Chief Student Affairs Officer at each college and university who are asked to send a list of attendees to Kelli Lyng. Please submit attendee lists, including wait list requests, no later than January 30, 2015.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We look forward to seeing you in February!
