Good morning. The legislative agenda this week includes a joint hearing by the Senate and House higher education committees to recommend nominees for the Board of Regents of the University of Minnesota. On Wednesday in the House Government Operations and Elections Policy Committee, members will take up the contract ratification bill that includes the IFO, MSCF, and MSUAASF contracts, as well as the MnSCU Personnel Plan for Administrators. The contracts and plan were approved by the Legislative Coordinating Commission Subcommittee on Employee Relations over the interim, but the full Legislature needs to ratify them. The bill will need to make its way through the committee process before being taken up on the floor in each body.
