Legislative Update – April 24, 2015

Good morning. It will be another busy day for both the House and Senate as they continue to debate the omnibus finance bills on the floor. The House will take up the omnibus state government bill and the omnibus environment and natural resources bill. The House will  also meet tomorrow and will take up the omnibus K-12 education bill. The Senate will be debating the omnibus health and human services bill today. They are not scheduled to meet in session over the weekend.

The higher education bill is scheduled to be taken up on the House floor on Monday. Once the House passes the bill, conferees for both the House and Senate will be appointed to work through the differences between the bills. We will continue to keep you posted.
