Free Fall Online Faculty Development Courses

A simple introduction:  My name is Kimberly Johnson (most people call me Kim, but I also like Kimberly) and I am the new Program Director for Faculty and Instructional Development at the system office.  I’m very excited to be here and to have the chance to work with faculty and faculty developers across the MnSCU system.

One of my first tasks has been to get the self-paced online faculty development courses ready to go through Academic and Student Affairs.  All are free for MnSCU faculty and are open for self-registration in D2L Brightspace.  There are three courses available to faculty: Philosophy of Community and Technical College Education, University and College Teaching, and Quality Online Teaching.  The flyer describes each course and includes registration instructions. Please share with colleagues.

Let me know if you have any questions about these courses or other faculty development opportunities.
