Colleagues,
I am writing to make you aware of several vacancies designated for college and university deans on the first four (4) pilot Transfer Pathways Teams in spring 2016. These teams will be charged to create the Transfer Pathways for Baccalaureate Completion as required by the 2015 Minnesota Session Law. Each of the following four discipline teams will need one university dean and one college dean, as well as one university student affairs officer and one college student affairs officer. Spring 2016 pilot disciplines are:
- Biology
- Business Administration
- Psychology
- Theater
The Transfer Pathways Coordinating Team is currently at work on the charge and guidelines for the Transfer Pathways Teams, and they will be shared with all participants in early December. Appointees should expect to meet:
- December 11, Metropolitan State University: All Transfer Pathways teams with the Transfer Pathways Coordinating Team: Orientation and planning forum.
- January 11- May 15: Probably 5-6 times, or as often as needed (to be determined by each team at its first meeting)
- 2016-2017: As often as needed (to be determined by the teams during spring 2016)
If you would like to recommend an administrator to serve on the Transfer Pathways Teams please provide the name(s) and contact information, as well as the appropriate team assignment, to Brent Glass at your earliest convenience.
Sincerely,
Ron
