Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) announces a change in education listings. Effective October 30, 2015, the website’s education listings will focus exclusively on programs and courses offered by MnSCU colleges and universities. Data on programs and courses offered by private colleges and universities (both for-profit and non-profit) and the University of Minnesota will no longer be provided.
Why this change?
While Minnesota State Colleges and Universities maintains partnerships with many state agencies and organizations, some partnerships changed this year. In January 2015, MnSCU became the sole owner and sponsor of www.iseek.org. These changes give us an opportunity to refocus the education program and course listings to those offered by Minnesota State Colleges and Universities.
As Minnesota’s highest value and most affordable higher education option, prospective students can quickly find MnSCU colleges and universities with tuition costs roughly one third of the tuition charged by private trade schools, half of the cost of other public universities, and one fifth the cost of private colleges and universities.
