Statement on Racism by Presidents and Chancellor

Previously sent out Nov 16, 2015

Dear ASA Colleagues,

Earlier today this message was shared with all campus students, faculty, staff, and administrators across our system.  I want to express to you that I stand with the Chancellor, our college and university presidents, and my system office colleagues in condemning racism and intolerance.  I reaffirm my commitment to ensuring that our campuses and system office are places where all people are welcomed, honored, and supported, and I commit to working with you to create, maintain, and enhance a workplace environment that is welcoming and accepting of differences, and in which every person’s contribution and perspective is heard and valued.  This is a responsibility we share, and I look forward to continuing the conversation with you when we meet as a full staff in early December.

With trust and respect,

Ron Anderson, Ph.D.
Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs
(651) 201-1498
Susan Platt, Executive Assistant | 651-201-1652
