LeadMN releases Open Educational Resources Stories video

Open Educational Resources (OER) are academic course materials available in the public domain. Utilizing Creative Commons licensing, OERs are open for use by faculty and students alike, allowing them to update, revise, and adapt according to their course needs.

LeadMN has long championed the expanded use of OERs. OERs are not only an innovative tool for faculty; they afford students a free (or drastically reduced) alternative to high-priced textbooks. Together with Minnesota State faculty, LeadMN students share their stories about how OERs have positively impacted them along their academic journey.
