Wednesday, November 18th from 9:00 – 11:00 am
We are pleased to announce a Virtual Open House from the Minnesota State IT Center of Excellence (COE) to learn more about the Curriculum Development Project!
We will have two (2) back-to-back sessions starting at 9:00 am and 10:00 am for those interested to join and talk with members of the Development Team.
Over the past 18 months, faculty from across the Minnesota State system have been developing Information Technology modules (1 credit) that can be used across the state in current courses or to develop new courses.
Our goal was to create dynamic, innovative, and high quality modules that expanded the scope and access to curriculum of cyber, data, agile, career readiness, and other in-demand IT programs to faculty and students across the State. Over 160 modules have been developed to date and most are available right now through the Minnesota State D2L Brightspace site!
The Minnesota State IT COE Curriculum Development Project Team will be showcasing:
- IT COE Curriculum Dashboard – View all current and to be development modules through an interactive and searchable database.
- Module Layout – Discuss the areas of the module as well as open source opportunities used to create the 160+ modules.
- National Standards Alignment – All modules aligned with National IT Standards such as NSA CAE, CSEC 2017, NICE, Edison Data Science and others.
- Download and Use Today – Access to all the current modules available through the Minnesota State D2L Brightspace site.
The program will run from 9 – 10 am and 10 – 11 am so come for one or stay for both!
