Join C-PLAN and guest speakers for a discussion on external assessments as they pertain to the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, as part of C-PLAN’s CPL Assessment professional development series. This session, C-PLAN is extremely excited to present along with two respected CPL experts. Please join us to ideate with Tricia Olinger, Program Leader for Administrative and Executive Office Professional Programs at Rochester Community and Technical College, and Dr. Christine Pigsley, an Assistant Professor and Program Director in Applied Leadership at Minnesota State University Mankato.
Through the CPL Assessment Webinar sessions, participants will:
- Gain understanding of Minnesota State’s policy and procedures for CPL assessments.
- Share best practices and effective processes for CPL assessments.
- Learn how to create assessments for evaluating course or competency equivalencies.
- Identify strategies and metrics to ensure CPL assessments are rigorous and equitable.
The Credit for Prior Learning Assessment Network (C-PLAN) offers continuing development on all the things campuses want to know about implementing and sustaining good CPL practice. These events benefit advisors, transfer specialists, student services staff, program directors, faculty, administrators, and others involved in CPL policy and practice on their campuses by encouraging cross-functional and cross-campus discussion.
