“The Creative Commons (CC) Certificate program helps us work together to build an equitable, accessible, and innovative world through sharing open knowledge and culture.“
The Creative Commons Certificate is an in-depth course about Creative Commons (CC) licenses, open practices, and the ethos of the Commons. The course is ten weeks long and is composed of readings, quizzes, discussions, and practical exercises to develop learners’ open skills.
Minnesota State will support up to ten seats for the CC Certificate for Librarians or the CC Certificate for Educators.
Creative Commons offers this certificate two times during our FY24:
- September 2023: September 25 – December 3, 2023
- January 2024: Dates to be announced
The cost for the CC Certificate is $500. However, Minnesota State will reimburse librarians, departments, or institutions for up to 10 seats upon successful certificate completion. Please submit your interest. You will be notified if seats are available before you register.
