Third in a Three-Part Series
Connecting the Classroom to Minnesota State Guided Learning Pathways
April 4, 2023 @ 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Virtual
In this third installment, participants will explore how applying an Equity by Design methodology to classroom data is a Minnesota State Guided Learning Pathways strategy. This application has significant implications at both the classroom, department, and program levels. Learn from others about how they have applied this methodology to course, department, and program level. Additionally, we will consider the intersection of course data and program data to suggest possible next steps on how to use the data to inform next steps both within the classroom and within a program or discipline.
Join us as we share resources, ask questions, and explore Equity by Design and Minnesota State Guided Learning Pathways. Additionally, learn about the Network for Educational Development (NED) Equity by Design future opportunities to learn about and develop Equity by Design methodology skills. Most importantly, meet other individuals who are engaging with this specific work on their campuses.
To strengthen faculty, staff, and administrator awareness and understanding of Minnesota State Guided Learning Pathways, the Minnesota State Educational Development Committee has prepared a series of development opportunities to learn the what, why, and how of the Minnesota State Guided Learning Pathways framework and its integral thread to the fabric of Equity 2030.
In this series, participants will be provided and overview of the framework and a deeper exploration of one area of the framework, Curricular and Program Design & Delivery, as it intersects directly with the work we do in our classrooms — regardless of modality.
Additionally, participants will learn about the Network for Educational Development (NED) and meet other individuals who are engaging with Minnesota State Guided Learning Pathways on their campuses.
