Empathy by Design #1 – Compassion

February 28 @ 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

NED: Foundations

Description

What’s the difference between empathy, compassion, and humanizing? How can we create an online environment where students gain the most educational and socio-emotional benefit? During this webinar, we’ll have an opportunity to explore ideas about what empathy by design can look like in an online environment. We’ll also share ideas and discuss how to balance flexible, empathic teaching with course transparency and high academic expectations.
