Description

With a few changes in your discussion settings, you can create private discussions in your D2L Brightspace course.  In this private discussion space you can communicate with individual students one-on-one.  This allows you to keep track of student-to-instructor communication without messages getting lost in your email.

Faculty members have also found this strategy is a great way to aid in student reflection, deepen student understanding, and stimulate critical thinking.
