Humanizing Plus: Principles to Enhance Online Teaching and Learning (Webinar)

Participants will review the Community of Inquiry (CoI) framework: social, cognitive, and teaching presence (Garrison, Anderson & Archer, 2000), and consider specific strategies to create a more inclusive and equitable online course by focusing on four interwoven principles: trust, presence, awareness, and empathy. Participants will also have an opportunity to assess their current courses and practices and identify possible next steps in the spirit of continuous improvement.
