The NED was established to provide educational development opportunities that are designed by Minnesota State faculty and staff for Minnesota State faculty and staff. These opportunities help build awareness, develop knowledge, skills, and abilities, and provide space for reflecting and revising.

Librarian Workdays 2021: Affordable Education Explosion

FreeAcademic librarians are critical partners in efforts to provide open educational resources (OER) for both students and faculty.
Educational Innovations is happy to announce two virtual opportunities for librarians and library staff from across Minnesota State campuses to come together for a day to network with colleagues, learn more about OER efforts across the system, and identify how librarians can be leaders and partners in our OER efforts.
Librarian Workdays 2021: Affordable Education Explosion
October 15, 2021 | 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
The focus of the second Librarian Workday is on OER exhibits where librarians and other experts will showcase their OER projects, resources, and textbooks that have been developed, saving students money and allowing faculty to have more academic freedom.
Participants will also learn about the partnerships that have been developed among faculty, bookstores, and librarians. We encourage participants to invite faculty colleagues and administrators to learn more and to help build a campus community around OER.
The agenda will be sent to registrants as the date approaches.
Audience: Librarians, library staff, faculty, administrators.
