OER Community Conversations: February 2022
February 23, 2022 @ 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
FreeTopic: Universal Design for Learning Modules
Guests Kelli Hutton (Anoka-Ramsey Community College, Minneapolis College) and Lynn Coffey (Minneapolis College) have created a Universal Design for Learning (UDL) module for their students in Ed Psych, and they are currently developing a unit for faculty. These are stand-alone units that can be used for students, and also for faculty trainings or as a added unit to any content area or discipline. This is a timely conversation to have when we are all addressing so many issues and topics closely related to UDL and the advantages it has for all of us and our students.
Open Educational Resource (OER) Community Conversations are open forum conversations for all to share, discuss, and learn from colleagues in the Minnesota State OER community. Hosted by Karen Pikula, the OER Faculty Development Coordinator, these conversations are virtual, hour-long meetings held twice per semester and feature a guest speaker on a topic of interest.
