Update on Guided Learning Pathways – Practice Alignment Assessment Results (Webinar)
July 14, 2021 @ 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM
FreeApproved by the Minnesota State Board of Trustees in November 2020 after a three-year collaborative development process, the Minnesota State Guided Learning Pathways Framework (GLP Framework) is an enterprise-level student success strategy. Building on evidence from across the nation, the GLP Framework outlines characteristics of effective practices in supporting students throughout their educational journey with academic and career planning support and advising. This spring, all Minnesota State institutions completed a practice alignment assessment to help ascertain which aspects of the GLP Framework they are already implementing. Results from the assessment will help guide initial implementation of the GLP Framework across all 30 colleges and 7 universities over the next two years. Speakers in this session will outline the GLP Framework, highlighting how it connects to and supports the goal of Equity 2030, review the results of the practice alignment assessment, and provide highlights from early adopters at Minneapolis Community and Technical College and St. Cloud State University.
Presenters:
- Dr. Ron Anderson, Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs
- Dr. Nate Hallanger, Special Assistant to Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs
- Tom Williamson, Acting Vice President of Academic Affairs, Minneapolis College
- Dr. Dan Gregory, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, St. Cloud State University
