Are you getting tired of traditional assessments where you test student knowledge about the book, and that’s about it? This session will help you think more creatively about how you might test your students to see if they are picking up the skills you want them to have in your class.
In this interactive webinar, we’ll talk about the basics of authentic assessment, including:
- What authentic assessment is, and how it differs from traditional assessment
- A step-by-step guide for how to create an authentic assessment
- Some time to brainstorm ideas and create the outline for an authentic assessment you could use in one of your courses
