The NED was established to provide educational development opportunities that are designed by Minnesota State faculty and staff for Minnesota State faculty and staff. These opportunities help build awareness, develop knowledge, skills, and abilities, and provide space for reflecting and revising.

Using D2L Awards Tool for Instructor Communication

Join an informative webinar about using the D2L Awards tool as one form of instructor-to-student interaction. Badges not only can be designed to reward excellent outcomes on assignments but also to recognize important college-level skills such as communication, participation, or study practices. Creating badges using various criteria will be demonstrated, which will allow participants to reflect on how they might use these scenarios in their own class spaces.
