Teach Together Minnesota! Program Now Available

Connect with educators across the state

9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. 

The program for Teach Together Minnesota! is now available, featuring detailed information on this day-long conference grounded in cultural fluency and culturally relevant pedagogies. This event is open to anyone in Minnesota that supports student learning, whether you are a colleague at a K-12 school or a public or private college or university, you are encouraged to join us. 

Review the program to learn more about the keynote, the sessions devoted to discussions with others in your field of study, concurrent webinars, lightning rounds, and the student panel. 

Register by May 14, 2021 and Receive a Free eBook 

After registering, you’ll receive an email asking you to identify which discipline, or field of study, you’ll be joining for conversations at the conference. By identifying your discipline, you can then choose one of two free eBooks being provided to all attendees to assist in framing the discussions around culturally responsive online teaching and learning: 

  • Becoming a Student-Ready College: A New Culture of Leadership for Student Success by Tia Brown McNair, Michelle Asha Cooper, Nicole McDonald, and Thomas Major, Jr.  
  • Emergent Strategy: Shaping Change, Changing Worlds by Adrienne Maree Brown 

The calendar appointment sent to all attendees after registering contains a link to the event page. This page will update with links to join the Zoom rooms on May 18, 2021. 

Paths Forward 

Minnesota State faculty are encouraged to continue the conversation and engage your discipline’s action items identified at Teach Together Minnesota! with discipline-specific short courses and faculty learning communities. 

Educators not affiliated with Minnesota State can find other ways to stay involved with partner opportunities and resources.

Mark your calendars, Teach Together Minnesota! will be held May 17, 2022 and May 16, 2023. We look forward to this ongoing effort to connect educators throughout Minnesota!
