The Network for Educational Development (NED) provides educational development opportunities that are designed by Minnesota State faculty and staff for Minnesota State faculty and staff. These opportunities help build awareness, develop knowledge, skills, and abilities, and provide space for reflecting and revising.

Accessible Course Prep Workshop (Fall 2026)

Get your courses ready for fall. Learn simple ways to make your materials more accessible.
In this half-day workshop on Zoom, you will:
- Review your course materials for accessibility
- Find common issues in documents, videos, and audio
- Get tools and resources to make improvements
After a short presentation, you’ll have time to work on your own courses with expert support.
Session Options
Join one or both virtual sessions on August 10. Each session starts with a 30-minute presentation, followed by work time.
- Part 1 (1:00–2:30 p.m.): Documents and files
- Part 2 (2:30–4:00 p.m.): Audio and video
