The purpose of this conference has been to share initiatives in education and within the practice community to support increased diversity and Inclusivity. With the increased emphasis on educating and employing a healthcare workforce that mirrors our state’s population, this is an extremely important conference and opportunity to share strategies and practices.
Ideas for conference topics range from curricular enhancements, ESL support, recruitment and retention, and mentoring to identifying barriers, reducing micro-aggressions, working with underserved/underrepresented communities, reducing health disparities and addressing equity in access and community health education.
