Conversations with Colleagues: November
November 22, 2022 @ 12:00 PM - 1:00 PMFree
Topic: Minnesota State Guided Learning Pathways: Questions and Explanations
Minnesota State Guided Learning Pathways (GLP) is a student-centered framework for Equity 2030 that outlines effective practices in academic and student support program design and delivery to effectively engage and support each student from their initial connection with our faculty and staff through their educational journey to attainment.
Faculty and staff are critical to the implementation and success of Guided Learning Pathways – specifically Curricular and Program Design and Delivery. GLP focuses on the wholistic student experience including in the class experiences, interactions with faculty, and understanding how even individual courses fit into programs and recommended sequencing.
The Educational Development Committee has been having conversations, asking questions, and compiling resources about GLP to increase our understanding. We suspect we are not alone, and that other faculty and staff may have the same questions including “What is Guided Learning Pathways?” and “How does this relate to my work?”
Join us as together we share resources, ask questions, and explore GLP.
